SAMHSA introduces ¡Vida en la Comunidad para Todos!/Life in the Community for Everyone! (Para Todos) a new bilingual audiovisual product for service providers who work with Hispanic/Latino families, or anyone interested in helping Latino parents talk about important prevention issues with their children. There are no costs or copyright restrictions associated with the Para Todos, available on DVD or VHS, and group leaders may duplicate the DVD/VHS and provide copies to their session participants. The product can be ordered online or by calling 1-800-729-6686.
Purpose
This DVD/VHS addresses substance abuse prevention and mental health promotion in Hispanic/Latino communities. It can be used to empower and motivate Latino parents to keep their children safe, healthy and drug free, as well as to increase awareness among service providers about the challenges facing Latino families in the United States.

Suggested Use
- Incorporate the DVD/VHS into existing programs by selecting the sections or chapters most useful to your program.
- Develop a new program based on the DVD/VHS by featuring each chapter on a nightly, weekly, or biweekly, basis.
- Allow plenty of time for discussion and use the facilitator guides to generate group participation.
Please Note
- The DVD version was created in Spanish and offers a dubbed English track for non-Spanish speakers interested in screening the content.
- The VHS version is available only in the original Spanish
- Para Todos was developed for use with parents and is not recommended for use with youth groups
- Para Todos DVD/VHS is intended for use primarily in group settings with Spanish-speaking Latino parents.

- Online videos––captioned streamed videos of each of the 10 chapters included in the DVD/VHS.
- Resources to use in group settings––facilitator guides that provide a step-by-step look at each chapter and offer suggestions for group activities.
- Related resources––references used in the development of the DVD/VHS and related articles on selected chapter topics.
